JP Anderson, Executive ChairmanJP started RSTO in 2001 after successfully selling an institutionally funded dot.com sports business. He was busy doing some work for the government to help SME businesses get online when he realised that it was all a bit consultative and he'd prefer to get his hands dirty.
Idea number two has led to a lot of hard work and an amazing journey through the crazy and complex world that is online technology. Enabling both the small businesses wanting websites and the blue-chip partners selling websites has provided unique insight on the real and online worlds we all live in. JP loves the hills of Glencoe, does an occasional mountain ridge and sometimes climbs things and then wonders what he was thinking about.
Warren Gee, Chief Executive OfficerWarren joined RSTO in 2011 having previously played a leading role in growing a financial services BPO company from start-up to global market leader. Having been through all that, Warren knows that it takes a unique combination of technology, process and most of all people to build a successful company and is genuinely excited by the opportunity in front of RSTO and the market we serve.
Away from work, Warren enjoys spending time with his family and can "occasionally" be found partaking in good food and wine. Being a New Zealander, he's rugby mad and has been known to disappear on to a nearby golf course when the sun comes out.
George Freeland, Chairman of Corporate Compliance CommitteeGeorge has been Non-Executive Chairman of RSTO since its incorporation. He is a senior financial director with experience at both corporate and operational levels across manufacturing, distribution, and electronics industries. This experience includes international corporate finance responsibility for a $1bn US manufacturing group.
George has steered RSTO through each year of its impressive growth. His combined responsibility for treasury and strategic management of over £100m of funding keep RSTO in tune with the market and primed for continued growth. George is a fantastic golfer but also buys the beers after Board Meetings, which is great.
Tim Shields, Head of DevelopmentTim joined RSTO in early 2010 having started his IT career writing and managing synthetic environment and simulation projects for the MoD, moving from there into telecoms and then into web technology.
During his time in RSTO Tim is constantly amazed at just how rapid change is within RSTO, but how mature the process and infrastructure of the company is to allow such speed of change to result in a positive outcome. Tim enjoys doing anything dangerous in his spare time – the most recent of which is scuba diving.
Jean Ferguson, Head of ProcessJean has worked in business process, materials and IT for Boots, Proctor & Gamble and Solectron gaining wide and deep experience in these fast-paced businesses. She joined RSTO in 2008 and has enjoyed applying her ERP and lean manufacturing experience to a company where rapid change and strong growth are a way of life and where, happily, there are no components for people to lose.
Jean is driven to take ideas and make them work and is acknowledged as the company NetSuite Goddess and Empress of Excel. She dresses in red, and relaxes with a mug of hot water, a glass of wine, and a good book, now most often on her beloved Kindle.
Nathan Elliot-Ling, Head of DigitalNathan has an outstanding background in the digital industries having spent the last 15 years working both client and agency side immersed in web, eCommerce, search & mobile. He enjoys working externally with new channel partners to develop exciting new products and internally across the business to rollout and commercialize as well as managing the companies various digital channels.
His products have taken him to some exciting places including Tokyo and New York the most exciting of course being Edinburgh. Famous for his love of iPhones, his most feared question is 'where's the props doc for……………..' - he can generally be spotted with a mug of coffee tightly in hand.
Kevin Turner, Campaign ManagerWhen Kevin joined RSTO he had hopes of settling in to design some business websites for SMEs and hopefully learning more about the industry. Five years later he isn't sure what's happened, but after working in development, resource development, product proposition, data and marketing campaigns, he's still enjoying the ride. He feels privileged to have seen and helped the company grow rapidly from 7 to over 130 people and is still learning more about the industry.
He's also still looking for the position in RSTO that allows him to work from the golf course, but until then he plays as often as he can, reads voraciously and has random existentialist discussions over a beer.
Helen Macdonald, Human ResourcesHelen has over 15 years experience in Human Resources working across a variety of sectors including pharmaceutical, retail, hospitality, education and IT. Helen believes that HR should work as a true strategic partner to the business and continually develop our most important assets - our people.
She's excited about all the growth the business continues to achieve and is looking forward to shaping its future and maintaining the great culture that exists today. Helen loves travelling so can't wait for RSTO to open an office somewhere far flung and exotic.
Laura Saunders, Customer Service ManagerLaura joined RSTO in early 2010 having started her career in the Energy Industry. Her unrivalled passion, enthusiasm and belief for ensuring all customers receive the very best experience, is clear for all to see. Laura always places customers at the forefront of absolutely everything we do and works tirelessly to ensure we constantly strive to deliver excellence. Laura has seen rapid growth in her relatively short time with RSTO and is extremely excited about being a part of the future successes to come.
Laura enjoys spending time with her young family in her dual role as a full time mum multitasking as ever to keep everyone happy.
